HEALTH GUIDELINES

WORKING IN CLOSE PARTNERSHIP WITH THE PITKIN COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT, VENGA VENGA IS TAKING THE FOLLOWING PRECAUTIONS TO LIMIT EXPOSURE TO COVID-19:

Social distancing between all tables
The restaurant will reduce its maximum occupancy by 25% on the patio so that tables can be spaced 8 feet apart from each other.

Controlled guest flow
A hostess will manage the arrival and seating of customers in a designated waiting area near the front door.  We will be enforcing social distancing while in the waiting areas in order to stay 6 feet apart from any guest that is not in your party.  Designated floor markers are available as guides.

Guest declaration form
All guests are required to complete a sign in form prior to being seated at a table. The form verifies that guests entering and dining in the restaurants are not displaying symptoms of COVD-19 or have been exposed to anyone with the virus. This form will also be used for contact tracing in the event of a reported case.

Groups limited to six patrons
While all tables will be spaced 8 feet apart, no single table will be allowed to have more than six guests. This is in compliance with the Colorado Health Department guidance.

Protective face masks for all staff
All kitchen, management and front of house staff will be required to wear protective face masks while on duty. Servers will be required to change their masks every 3-hours.  This will ensure all face masks remain sterile and clean.

In-depth staff training
All staff will be required to participate in our COVID-19 training prior to the re-opening of the restaurant.

Gloves
All staff will be required to wear gloves throughout their shift, replacing their gloves every 3 hours.

Dedicated sanitization staff
Dedicated bussers will be responsible for clearing tables after each seating and will fully sanitize tables prior to the next seating.

Continuous sanitization
Venga Venga will continue thorough and frequent sanitation practices in the dining areas, restrooms, server stations, and kitchen area during service hours.  Hand sanitizer and disposable disinfectant wipes will be available throughout the restaurant for guests to use.

Restrooms
Restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized every 30 minutes and are limited to 2 guests at a time.

Daily deep clean
Our in-house custodian staff will conduct a deep clean each day before service.

Plexiglass dividers
Our service stations point of sale and host stand have been installed with plexiglass dividers to limit contact between team members and guests.

Disposable menus
Venga Venga will only offer disposable menus for our table service. All menus will be thrown out after each service.  Our menu can also be viewed online.

Strict compliance of all deliveries
Venga Venga will require all vendors and third-party partners to wear protective face masks when entering the restaurant. Additionally, the staff will wipe down and fully sanitize all food and beverage deliveries prior to those deliveries entering the kitchen.

Reduced menu
Dine-in service will include a reduced food and drink menu from what was offered pre-COVID-19. The reduced menu size will accommodate more efficient kitchen operations and will give staff a safe space to work in.

Employee screenings
Staff members will have their temperature checked prior to each shift. Any employee that is experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19 has been told to not come to work. If symptoms are noticed by management upon their check-in procedure, that staff member will be immediately sent home.
